Text Box: This page contains some information about The Egyptian Relativity Group (ERG). In this page you will find the history of the group, the members, membership rules and activities of the group. Our group is the only group of Relativity in Egypt. The members of this group are distributed among Egyptian Universities and research institutions. The group is interested in the General Theory of Relativity, and its applications in the fields of astrophysics, cosmology and celestial mechanics. In general, the group is interested in the geometrization philosophy, i.e using geometry for solving physical problems. Some members of our group are interested in alternative field theories and their applications . Other members are working in differential geometry and high energy astrophysics. There are several published papers in the above mentioned fields by the group members. Our group welcomes any candidate working in this field, or any other related field, and satisfy the rules and conditions of the membership. The group would like to thank the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology for hosting its website.
